'''Interplanetary Space Command''' was an organisation which existed in the [[29th century]]. They operated at least two [[space station]] beacons in orbit around [[Jupiter]], whose job it was to direct space traffic traveling from Earth to Pluto. Their chain of command ended with a higher authority/headquarters known as '''Earth Centre'''. ([[DW]]: [[Revenge of the Cybermen]])

==History==

Sometime in the 29th century, the [[Nerva Beacon]], assigned to a 30-year mission orbiting the planetoid [[Voga]], was apparently struck by a plague that wiped out nearly all of the 50-strong ISC crew. Only 3 survived (and 1 observer), and it was soon discovered that the plague was in reality an infection spread by an invading [[Cyberman]] force. ([[DW]]: [[Revenge of the Cybermen]])

ISC officers had access to bullet-based ballistic sub-machine guns. The exact capabilities of these weapons are unclear, although they are not powerful enough to penetrate Cyberman armour.

ISC personnel wear brown shirts, trousers, boots, tie and a jacket. The ISC insignia is displayed on the right breast. A tab displaying the officer's rank stripes is pinned to the left breast.

List of ISC ranks:

* Commander - 3 gold stripes on breast tab, 1 looping gold stripe on epaulettes, 1 gold aigulette.
* Unknown - 2 gold stripes on breast tab, plain epaulettes.

* The connection between the Interplanetary Space Command of the 29th century and the [[International Space Command]] of the [[20th century|20th]] and [[21st century|21st centuries]] is unclear.
