Moon rock was an item which Patience Patience considered "delicious" and "one of [her] favourites".

When Doctor Doctor was due to come back from his holiday, AIEIO and Patience Patience discussed what souvenirs he might bring back for them, with AIEIO saying he'd love a "stick of moon rock", leading Patience to remark that moon rock was "delicious" and one of her "favourites". In the real world, moon rock refers to rock originating from the Moon. Its depiction in The Doctor, Doctor Returns! [+]Loading...["The Doctor, Doctor Returns! (TV story)"] conflates this term with the confectionary also called "rock", which indeed comes in sticks.
