Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The Bellagio Stone has a mystic significance, believed to be the Philosopher's Stone. While it may simply be an ordinary gemstone, it may also be a gem grown within the Time Vortex which emits artron energy or an object of significance to the adventurers such as a message from the Time Lords or a fragment of the Key to Time.
- Cagliostro's Elixir of Life, said by legend to have been shared with Casanova, may actually have been Time Lord technology. If the legend was true, Casanova may have been granted the ability to renew his body twelve times, and still resides in Venice today under a new face.
Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- If the gamemaster does not wish to play a pure historical game, there are options to add Daleks and/or Krillitane to the story, both well-integrated with the Venice setting.
- In the tradition of The Massacre, it is suggested that Casanova may look exactly like the Doctor. This can be taken as a reference to David Tennant's role as Casanova in Casanova, a show closely linked to Doctor Who.
Continuity[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Legends concerning Cagliostro's ability to renew his body twelve times are also referenced in PROSE: Managra [+]Loading...["Managra (novel)"], which also suggests a possible Time Lord connection.
