As a general concept, the editor who makes the most edits in [[namespace]] 0, as determined by the mechanism at [[Doctor Who Wiki/TopEds]], for the period of 0000 23 August 2014 to 2359 3 October 2014, UTC, '''wins'''. But the following stipulations apply:
# You must be willing to provide your address to Wikia, Inc., since the prize must be shipped to a physical location. If you refuse so to do, you forfeit your prize.
# The winner's edits will be randomly surveyed by the contest administrator, [[user:CzechOut|CzechOut]].  While minor edits are allowed, frivolous ones are not. The contest administrator reserves the right to disqualify the apparent winner if edits are deemed to be unhelpful to the general ambitions of this community. (In practice, this just means that vandalism will not be rewarded.) 
# Wikia staff and robots are excluded from winning, but Tardis administrators are not. For the purposes of this contest, [[user:CzechOut|CzechOut]] is to be regarded as a member of Wikia staff. Users who appear to run a robot on their regular account will be disqualified. 
# Every effort will be made to provide the prize as pictured on [[Doctor Who Wiki]].  However, variations may occur.  Neither Tardis Wiki nor Wikia, Inc. shall be held accountable for any damages, real or emotional, from the fact that the prize as delivered looks different to any pictures used by Tardis Wiki or Wikia, Inc. to advertise this contest.
# Delivery of item shall be done entirely at Wikia's discretion, using whatever speed and carrier they choose.  Winner shall not have the right to demand tracking information or date of shipment, though it may be provided, at Wikia's sole option. 
# Wikia shall not be held responsible for losses or damages through shipping.  If your prize doesn't arrive, or if it arrives damaged, Wikia will of course be sympathetic, but completely unable to replace the item. To our knowledge, the prize was a ComicCon 2014 exclusive. 
# We reserve the right to deny shipment to certain locations outside the United States. (But we probably won't.)
# In the event that the natural winner of the contest is disqualified, the person ranking immediately under them shall be declared the winner. 
# The currency of the counting device at [[Doctor Who Wiki/TopEds]] cannot be assured. Due to the nature of its code, it is not possible to get an accurate count of edits until the moment the contest ends. '''Your best strategy of winning is just to edit as much as you possibly can.'''  If you want to win, don't try to finesse a last minute victory, because the counter doesn't allow for that kind of precision.
# Every effort shall be made to take a reading exactly at 2359 3 October 2014 UTC, but this may not be practicable. At the time that the contest administrator takes the final vote, he will take an automatically time-stamped screen shot of [[Doctor Who Wiki/TopEds]], and publish it to this page for all interested parties to see.  That image, whether it be at 2359 3 October 2014, or slightly earlier or later, shall be deemed the official count.

Contest was closed slightly later than anticipated, as it turned out not to be practicable to take a reading at exactly 3 October 2359 UTC. Time of closure wa 4 October 2014 0348 UTC / 3 October 1748 HST, with the following results:
