The 9th one treated the War Doctor as a monster in a comic story; as did the 10th and 11th ones in The Day of the Doctor. But the 8th Doctor defend the War one, accepting him and describing him as the shield from a dark future. And it remind me of an AU in which the real Rose defends the War Doctor from the 9th, 10th, and 11th Doctors. How'd you think..."
