Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | Joe Barker was a musician who formed a faustian bargain with Godfather Mephistopheles. In exchange for a chance at fame, the people close to him would have their potential sacrificed to the loa. Bandmates of his either died off or retired, and his wife and son died in childbirth. As a result of this he confronted Mephistopheles and attempted to stop others from making the same mistake he did, which led to being erased from the history of jazz and his imprisonment in the Boulevard of Alternate Brutalities.
