In one possible string of events, a mediaeval King became the patron of the Toymaker after the latter was forced to take refuge on Earth, having escaped the destruction of his dimension in a stolen Dalek ship. Rumours grew among the King's people that the King's "new toymaker" was "a warlock", spreading as far as a "backwater village" to which the very adventurers who had witnessed the destruction of the Toymaker's dimension had coincidentally found their way.
