A Cyber-ship crashed into Klimtenburg's church building and remained underground for hundreds of years. In the 19th century, the Eleventh Doctor arrived to find a strange plague spreading round the village which he discovered was really Hapthoid Radiation Sickness from the Cyber-ship's reactor. The Cybermen inside the ship attacked the village but they were destroyed in a battle with the villagers.
