The Go-Go's were a semi-professional group from Newcastle who released "I'm Gonna Spend My Christmas With A Dalek" just before Christmas in 1964. The musicians were Mike Johnson (19), Alan Cairns (20), Abe Harris (20), Bill Davison (22), Les McLeian (19) and Sue Smith (17), with writer and producer Les Vandyke appearing under the pseudonym of Johnny Worth to boost their numbers.[1]
