Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | Arto and Turis interfered with Flora Millrace's attempts to safely remove time distortions on Earth in 1968. Since Flora was sending out musical signals from television programmes to detect the distortions, Turis and Arto created a counterpoint to her music, drawing energy from the Time Vortex into the distortions. They planned to use these distortions as bombs so they could demand free energy from Earth's governments. They detonated one of these bombs, killing fifty people, but were stopped by Flora, the Second Doctor and Zoe Heriot. They were killed by a grey man. (PROSE: The Avant Guardian) |
