Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | An Earth Benchmarking Vessel, or EBV, was a spaceship which, using gravitational singularities, would punch a hole in space every tenth of a light-year and encode information into it. Once this "benchmarking" project was complete, a grid would exist across the galaxy, allowing ships to know how far they were from Earth and in what direction they were headed. The Nevermore was once such EBV, and was captained by the artificial plant Rostrum. (AUDIO: Here There Be Monsters) |
