He was one of the founders of the Rapscallion Club, but after being implicated in a scandal, he was transported to Van Diemen's Land. Years later, he became an inventor, and he moved to New York. While no photographs of him existed, one group claimed to have taken an photograph of Stephen's animal soul thirteen years before his death in 1967. |
