Hi, I'm SinDemon![[edit] | [edit source]]

Yes, I know what it says up the top there. Suffice it to say, I created my original Wikia account on the wiki for a Japanese property. Now I'm stuck with that. Go figure.

Not much to see here. Maybe one day I'll figure out how to make this page a bit more exciting.

What I consume[[edit] | [edit source]]

For the past couple of years I've been in the slow process of watching in release order every licensed TV, homevid, and webcast story (except those produced by BBV Productions, because they don't deserve my money, and frankly I needed an excuse to reduce my list). This included the Classic Era, which I had never watched before, and also has included/will include several spin-offs which I had/have never seen, such as K9 and Class. As of this edit, I recently finished the painful experience that was K9, and less painfully, rewatching Revival Series 5. As I go along, I like to make various timelines of BBC-produced stories, and I'm planning some other analyses, like what the hell happened to the Eleventh Doctor's timeline in Series 5.

I'm also listening to all the Doctor Who and Doctor Who-adjacent audio stories from Big Finish Productions. This started out as just picking stories that sounded good, but promptly descended into another release order checklist. It's my equilibrium state, it seems. Coincidentally with my above watchthrough having just finished Series 5, I am as of this edit also on 2010 in my Big Finish timeline.

Other than the above, I've read a few comics, listened to a few other audio dramas, read a couple of novels and guidebooks, own a couple of annuals for old times' sake... Nothing else as consistent as the above. One day I might sell more of my sanity for such things.

What I do here[[edit] | [edit source]]

I started wiki editing as a way to channel my pedantry, essentially. I mostly make small edits to improve readability and accuracy of articles, as well as bring them in line with wiki policy where I am aware of it. I like to try to set existing pages right, as opposed to adding fresh information or creating entirely new pages, generally speaking. I may become more ambitious eventually, but for the moment that's how I like to work.

One of my most consistent edits is correcting the formatting of Continuity sections on story pages as I come across them, as the recent decision to give them a uniformly Out-of-Universe perspective was brought to my attention early on, and I read and edit the pages for every story I consume, so it seemed a natural ad-hoc project to give myself. At some point I may begin carrying it out in earnest, with every TV story, or every Big Finish Monthly Range story, or something.

You may also see me making edits on behalf of certain users who are not able to edit articles due to T:WIKIFY OWN, as I know several others also do. If you would like to request that I make such an edit, please don't hesitate to contact me via my talk page or the Doctor Who Discord community. As long as your request complies with wiki policy to the best of my understanding, I'll be happy to carry it out.

Thanks for reading this far![[edit] | [edit source]]

Please say hi if you stop by. I'd like to get to know my fellow editors.
