The Kandalath were peaceful, red-skinned humanoids who lived in a symbiotic relationship with the Halohawks. In exchange for transport around the planet, the Kandalath provided security and food for the Halohawks' young from the egg stage.
On occasion, the eggs were threatened by alien poachers. The poachers often used a perception filter to conceal their activities. (DWA: Danger Flight)
