Mrs. Martin was a colonist in the human settlement on planet Uxarieus and the wife of Martin.
When the problems plaguing the colony came to a head in March 2472 and the issue was to either stay or leave, Mrs. Martin voted to stay and overcome their difficulties; one of those who believed that they’d be worst off if they went back to Earth. She had utterly deplored life back on Earth -saying that the air was polluted and that the government had become increasing oppressive.
