Terry Nation's Dalek Annual 1976 was the first of the 1970s Dalek annuals. It was significant to establishing the narrative surrounding the Anti-Dalek Force and its leaders, Joel Shaw, Mark Seven and Reb Shavron. That narrative would continue through the final Dalek annual in 1979.

Like the final Dalek annuals of the 1960s, this 1976 edition made no reference to the Doctor, the TARDIS or any non-Dalek elements of Doctor Who.
