Greeves was one of the butlers at Eddison Manor and one of the most loyal. He did whatever what was asked of him by Lady Eddison, such as keeping her pregnancy room locked. He was one of the main suspects because of his mysterious behaviour. Along with the Colonel, he knew about Davenport's homosexual relationship with the heir to the Eddison title, Roger Curbishley. This was evidenced by his glare at Davenport after the second murder. He served at the meal after the murders of Gerald Peach and Chandrakala and the poisoning of the Tenth Doctor. He saved Donna Noble's life after the Vespiform almost killed Roger Curbishley. (DW: The Unicorn and the Wasp)
