Mavis Ransom had an uncredited part as one of the schoolchildren in The Pilot Episode and the final transmitted version of DW: An Unearthly Child.[1] Ransom does not appear to have had any other television or film roles. The Internet Movie Database does not have a listing for Mavis Ransom, although it does list a Mavis Ranson[2] who was active in television around the same time The Pilot Episode was filmed, appearing in Dixon of Dock Green and other programmes. Whether this is the same person, however, cannot be determined.
