The merge proposal makes sense on its face, but there's a complication: [[Jean-Luc Picard]] treats the character as an actual person who interacts with the Doctor and his friends, but [[Jean Luc Picard]] treats the character as a fictional character within the ''Doctor Who'' universe. Now, I haven't read ''[[Syntax (short story)|Syntax]]'', so I don't know whether it uses the unhyphenated spelling (which is technically incorrect, but that's neither here nor there).
