Scrum was a human in his forties who lived in the 26th century. He was a member of the crew of the Wayfarer, an old Naval cruiser. He worked on the ship as a computer technician. The crew thought him a technical genius. He travelled with the crew to the planets Hurala and Arkheon. On Arkheon he was exterminated by the Daleks as he was of no use to them.
