Sharkwolves were black furred creatures that were local to Xirrinda. When the Rain Of Terror returned to the planet they hungered for something a little different. The Doctor, Amy, Rory and Attar were cornered by two of these creatures in the Ulla settlement. The Doctor discovered that they didn't like daylight and so they narrowly escaped the creatures' grasp.
