In-universe?
I haven't watched this, but is it in-universe, like the 2005 Children in Need special, or OOU, like Dimensions in Time? Tardis1963 talk 12:42, May 26, 2012 (UTC)
- It's just aired and it features Amy and the Doctor, so it's presumably in-universe (by which I'm guessing, do we, for the purposes of this wiki, "count" it as canon) unless the admins change their minds. -- Tybort (talk page) 14:28, May 26, 2012 (UTC)
- To be clear, admins don't, or at least shouldn't, have any greater voice in Inclusion debates than any other user. We admins are (or, again, should be) just functionaries, enforcing the consensus of all active users. Of course, there's some overlap between the sets of "admins" and "most active users". But anybody who wants can have a say in what the wiki covers or doesn't. And, as they say over at Wikipedia, consensus can change. —Josiah Rowe talk to me 02:14, May 27, 2012 (UTC)
It isn't canon like death is the only answer episode as it was made in a competition and also becuase it breaks the canon of the doctor lighting the flame in episode fear her as the athlete says thats what hes doing and he isnt the one who has it before the doctor as it is someone who is white who has it, gets scared by the isolus pod being thrown in it and so the doctor picks it up. So it is not canon as it breaks canon. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Coop3 (talk • contribs) .
- If "it breaks canon" (by which I assume you mean it contradicts a previous story) were a reason to exclude a Doctor Who story, we'd have to lose a lot more than this story. (Goodbye, The Deadly Assassin (TV story); farewell The Five Doctors; so long, TV movie; adios, The End of the World.) The Doctor Who universe is a vast and sometimes self-contradictory place.
- That said, I suggest that if you think that this story (and Death Is the Only Answer) shouldn't be treated as valid sources, you should open a new discussion at Forum:Panopticon. —Josiah Rowe talk to me 20:51, July 6, 2012 (UTC)
