Following up on the earlier notification of the demise of some pre-HTML5 tags, I've begun the process of creating template workarounds for the HTML commands that are going around, where such workarounds are possible.
First up on the list are {{s}} for strikethroughs and {{u}} for underlining. These templates replace <s> and <u>, respectively. These are both super easy to use, and both work in the same way. {{s|watch what happens now}}, for instance, produces watch what happens now.
