Dan Schultz and Glyn Williams were the two astronauts on the Zeus IV as it conducted an orbital atmosphere survey mission. The Zeus IV was pulled into Mondas' gravity and when they tried to break free the craft exploded. Both crewmembers died. (DW: The Tenth Planet)
