I am going to write an aticle about the unbound version of Davros from Masters of war. I liked him and think that there should be more info on him but I've never written a full article before so I am gonna need more expierenced users to fix it once I've written it, I.E put a picture in make it seem more proffessional I'm still a bit unclear when it comes to articles. Winehousefan 00:31 10 may 2010 [UTC]
I was thinking maybe we should have articles for all the major unbound character like the david warner doc the brigadier, I mean we have articles for other alternate reality characters like Rickey, let me know what you think. Winehousefan: 09:50 may 10 2010[UTC]
- You might want to look at the policies for what counts as in-universe. I think alternate-universe stuff from the main continuity might be treated differently from stuff that's explicitly not in continuity. But there are pages for Curse of the Fatal Death, Dimensions in Time, etc., so obviously the rule can't just be that it's never mentioned at all.
- Some advice: Make sure to start with the character template. And look at the some other character pages--both the organization, and the wiki code (getting some of the details right can be tricky). If there are any pages for outside-continuity characters, those would be especially helpful, of course.
- Also, if you're not confident in it, you might want to first create it as a subpage under your userpage, then ask people for comments, and only them move it live. Otherwise, someone might come along and delete it or something before you're finished (although hopefully, with the post here, plus maybe a comment in the article code and a post on the talk page, that won't happen).
- One more thing: please put the content under the forum header and the comment. (Does the fancy editor not even show those or something? If it doesn't, they really ought to make the code editor the default....) --Falcotron 09:31, May 10, 2010 (UTC)
- A good way of starting your first article is to start it in your own userspace, i.e. at User:Winehousefan/Article_name instead of in the wiki proper. That way you can start it out and edit it into shape in your own time without worrying if it's suitable for the wiki yet or if it faces deletion, you can post here and invite others to review it and help out, and when it is finally ready you can then move it out of your userspace and into the wiki. - an article for the Unbound version of Davros and the Unbound versions of the Doctor definitely belong here. I haven't embarked on creating articles because I haven't heard the relevant stories. therefore I wouldn't have anything to add except stubs. --Stardizzy2 21:34, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

Archivist's notes[[edit source]]
Despite the length of this thread, and the general support the idea seems to have received, this article was never actually created in the main namespace. Therefore, this is a failed proposal.
