I've barely even listened to the Big Finish audios, but I can tell that Davison, Colin, McCoy and McGann have regular work on them, most notably McGann, whose work in the TV series amounts to a single story in 1996. Because of that, I'm not sure if the wording is right, or if it is fine, it needs a better explanation. If they've consistently continued the role from 1999-2012 (or 2001-2012 for McGann) and beyond, wouldn't that be noteworthy for the {time} variable?

:Yeah, that was a bit unclear.  Rewritten.  Hopefully the rewrite is clearer.  &nbsp;<span style="">19:52: Fri&nbsp;23 Mar 2012&nbsp;</span>

Also, does this mean the box should be left blank for guest stars with multiple one-off roles years apart from each other (i.e. Michael Sheard, Jean Marsh)? -- Tybort (talk page) 15:42, March 22, 2012 (UTC)

:Yes, it does mean that. It's an alternative to {story} to prevent a whopping great list appearing in the infobox.  I would use {story} for your Michael Wishers and Philip Madocs, but {time} for regular or recurring characters.  &nbsp;<span style="">19:52: Fri&nbsp;23 Mar 2012&nbsp;</span>

Spoilers are strongly policed here.
If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.

On Infobox Person, it says this about "main time period active", the {time} variable.

For people who've had a more substantial involvement in the DWU, give the year range for their primary involvement, either in terms of actual years or seasons. So, for someone like Peter Davison, the correct answer here is 1981-1984, not 1981-1984, 1993, 2007.Infobox Person

Yeah, that was a bit unclear. Rewritten. Hopefully the rewrite is clearer.

Yes, it does mean that. It's an alternative to {story} to prevent a whopping great list appearing in the infobox. I would use {story} for your Michael Wishers and Philip Madocs, but {time} for regular or recurring characters.
