Could all acive user use the shout box as it useful for talking to each other and proggressing with the wiki. Currently only me and Quark16 actively use it and then only for general chat. It could become a useful tool. Just a thought--[[User:Skittles the hog|Skittles the hog]] 12:55, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Widgets are not a feature of the current Oasis/Wikia skin.  I'm not even totally sure they are a ''current'' feature of the Monobook skin that users are still able to choose.  {{user:CzechOut/Sig}}{{User:CzechOut/TimeFormat}}'''23:27:56 Sun&nbsp;'''29 May 2011&nbsp;</span>

If there is anyone reading this who hasn't yet tried out the widgets...can I just say.."GO ON GIVE 'EM A GO!" (They're tucked away under 'MORE' at the top of the page).
I thought they may noticeably slow things down but they don't seem too. Of notable excitement for me is the slideshow (having set it to '0' so it browses all the images). Its thrown up lots of surprises that by clicking on the picture, takes you to the picture article and then the page links. (Sometimes the random page search I can find a little disappointing if I get lots of pages without content or only one line.)
I've found articles that were tucked away, articles wrongly headed and others that reminded me of things I'd forgotten about! Its been quite nostalgic, and best of all it gives a changing visual on every page you visit!
Alright I know some of the younger contributors may think.."yeh! So whats the big deal, its a widet, but seriously, for someone like me (who maybe is easily pleased!) and somewhat cautious with new 'things', its enhanced my wiki browsing experience and left me, well, quite inspired! Archivist's notes[[edit source]]

Widgets are not a feature of the current Oasis/Wikia skin. I'm not even totally sure they are a current feature of the Monobook skin that users are still able to choose.
