Captain Jones commanded the space ship Black Horizon, which was marooned in the Gloriana Scattering. She had trouble resolving the problem, and was forced to ask the Eleventh Doctor for help. She discovered that the cable keeping them marooned was actually part of a giant spider's web.
After the Doctor destroyed The Empire Of Eternal Victory, she promised him never to speak of the spider again, otherwise greed and power would take over. (NSA: Web in Space!)
