Janet Sharp was a consumer journalist for Twilight Years magazine, as was her husband Trevor. They were on the guest list for the launch of the SerfBoard, but were stranded at Orly Airport due to a computer malfunction by Mr Smith. Janet and Trevor's identities were assumed by Rani Chandra and Clyde Langer while they investigated Serf Systems' activites. (TV: The Man Who Never Was)
