Kelly was a young woman who worked in Sanderson & Grainger, a department store which housed Cybermen. When the Eleventh Doctor came to work there to investigate, Kelly, along with the other employees, became quite fond of him. After the Cybermen were defeated on 21 April 2011, he told her that the explosion of their ship was contained and the store would be fine, which confused her. (TV: Closing Time)
