The Third Zone, possibly also know by as the Nine Planets, was an area of the Mutter's Spiral. The Androgum homeworld may have been located there as they were used for menial labour, and nargs was the currency used. By the time Space Station Chimera existed, humans had not reached this part of the galaxy and the Third Zoners were conducting experiments in time travel using the Kartz-Reimer module.
