[[Community:User blog:DaNASCAT/Technical Update: November 6, 2012|Wikia are reporting fresh errors with the Game of Rassilon]]. Although the icon display issues remain resolved, there's now a basic problem of math. The Rassilon points themselves aren't being calculated properly, causing some long-achieved icons to pop back onto your "to do" list, while other icons remain unachievable by this crazy new math. The likelihood is that whatever work you do during this period of "bad math" will eventually get sorted out, since the game uses your contributions list as its basis. Thus, the data is still in good shape — it's just the bit of code ''interpreting'' the data that needs to be fixed.
As always, though, I can't offer you a guarantee about what Wikia might do with this optional feature. All I can really do is remind you that, at the end of the day, it's just a game. {{user:CzechOut/Sig}}{{User:CzechOut/TimeFormat}} 19:35: Fri 09 Nov 2012</span>

If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.
Are you seeing your own earned badges when you look at someone else's? I know I am, so I've submitted a report to Wikia about this very peculiar new bug. Not quite sure why this has suddenly cropped up, but let's just add it on to the pile of tiny errors that have crept into the whole Achievements/Game of Rassilon "thing" since the upgrade to MediaWiki 1.19.
Hopefully, we'll soon be able to see other people's badges again.

- Just received a reply from community:user:Brandon Rhea who assures me this problem is in the process of being swiftly fixed. I would therefore expect, but obviously can't guarantee, that it'll be fixed within the next month. Code patches come out roughly every Wednesday, so the likelihood is that it'll be fixed no earlier than this Thursday (North American time), but my money would be on a fix by the Thursday after the end of series 7a.

As of today, the longstanding issue of "black-backgrounded achievement icons" has been resolved, according to our Wikia rep on this issue, Merrystar. Indeed, I'm not seeing any black backgrounds anywhere.
Our new problem is that the bulk of icons aren't showing at all. However, this problem is fast-tracked for resolution, but it probably won't come until at least next week.
The good news is that when this final problem is resolved, the Game of Rassilon should be finally restored to its former glory and we'll be able to start adding some new editing tracks again.

Wikia are reporting fresh errors with the Game of Rassilon. Although the icon display issues remain resolved, there's now a basic problem of math. The Rassilon points themselves aren't being calculated properly, causing some long-achieved icons to pop back onto your "to do" list, while other icons remain unachievable by this crazy new math. No word yet on when this will get fixed, but the fact that Wikia are putting it on the public "known issues" list is good news. This usually indicates that the problem is higher on their list of priorities.
The likelihood is that whatever work you do during this period of "bad math" will eventually get sorted out, since the game uses your contributions list as its basis. Thus, the data is still in good shape — it's just the bit of code interpreting the data that needs to be fixed.
As always, though, I can't offer you a guarantee about what Wikia might do with this optional feature. All I can really do is remind you that, at the end of the day, it's just a game.
