Eighth Doctor ginger?[[edit source]]

The following was added to the article:

While Paul McGann himself was not ginger, the wig he wore for Doctor Who (1996) gave off the appearance of red hair.

I'm removing cause it's inaccurate. There are one or two shots where he's under certain lighting conditions that perhaps suggest that — but it's quite clear in normal daylight shots that his hair is in no way red. Also, colour comics never even hint that his hair is anything other than brown.

While I agree with your interpretation, most of the Eighth Doctor short stories I have read describe him as having "chestnut curls". I looked up chestnut in a couple of dictionaries, and it's defined as "reddish brown". However, I still think that's a far cry from "ginger". Shambala108 16:16, December 10, 2012 (UTC)
