Plus, Matt plays the part of Eleven in-character, referring to Dan Starkey as Strax. - I meant that her wink in AotD is also a fourth wall breaking moment, but that doesn't make it non-canon, nor does the even more blatant fourth wall breaking in MotS when Ten addresses the Prom audiences. I don't see what her costuming has to do with her allegedly "playing herself" either. You're hardly able to tell what she's wearing besides some type of black something (shirt or dress) and part of a silver necklace.
