A school was a location where individuals could receive an education. The term "school" was most often used to describe an institution where children below the age of maturity were educated, usually by adults on occasion by aliens masquerading as human adults to further their own goals. (PROSE: Timewyrm Revelation, TV: School Reunion)

The term school was also used in a broader sense to categorise any place where "schooling" took place, be it a university, college or another institution for learning.
