Novelisation

  • This novelisation is based on the original television serial generally referred to as DW: The Savages which included individual episode titles and was shown from 28th May 1966 and written by Ian Stuart Black.
  • The cover and information shown on the right is for the original Target novel and featured the artwork of David McAllister . (See below for information on other UK and international editions which published with a different cover).

Landing on a distant planet, the Doctor confidently announces to his companions that the TARDIS has brought them to an age of great advancement, peace and prosperity.
