- A Town Called Mercy was filmed at Fort Bravo in Spain.
- Writer Toby Whithouse wanted the Gunslinger to look like Frankenstein’s monster. Actor Andrew Brooke spent two and a half hours each morning to be transformed into the Gunslinger.

- Interestingly (and wrongly), the Daleks are included in this issues feature on Robots, but then again so is the cyborg Gunslinger!
