Christopher Ryan (born 25 January 1950) played Lord Kiv in TV: Mindwarp, General Staal in TV: The Sontaran Stratagem and TV: The Poison Sky and Commander Stark in TV: The Pandorica Opens, making him one of the few actors to appear in both the classic and revived series of Doctor Who. A promotional image of him as General Staal was used to depict Commander Halke in TV: The God Complex. Outside of Doctor Who, he is best known as Mike Thecoolperson in The Young Ones.
