The Judgement of Solomon was the first solo Benny Summerfield short story. It was published in Decalog 5: Wonders, a Virgin Books release that otherwise had no connection to Benny or the wider Doctor Who universe. Later, once the licence to publish Summerfield stories went to Big Finish Productions, a number of short story anthologies featuring the character were published.
