The sketch parodies the beginning of the series in general, and as such, certain details are not historically accurate. The first day of filming actually began on 20th August, not the 9th, and elements referencing several episodes of both An Unearthly Child and The Daleks are seen.

Home video releases

The Corridor Sketch was released as a special feature on the An Unearthly Child disc of the DVD box-set, The Beginning, alongside Mark Gatiss and David Walliams' three Doctor Who Night sketches.
