Set in London

When does it say that Caliburn House is located in London? Geek Mythology 20:48, April 20, 2013 (UTC)

  • The TV listings here in Canada say it's on the moors somewhere. Were there moors in London in 1974? 70.72.211.35talk to me 01:13, April 21, 2013 (UTC)
    • Not that I'm aware of. I don't live in London, I know there a few parks and big houses, but don't think there are any moors. Unless anyone can say where it says it was set in London, I'll remove that category.Geek Mythology 15:43, April 22, 2013 (UTC)

Hila

What is the spelling of Hila's last name? Has anyone seen in in the close captions? 78.9.3.121talk to me 20:51, April 20, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah. It's "Hila Tacorian" in the iTunes closed captions. The closing credits simply give her as Hila, no last name, which is a bit odd since Palmer and Grayling were given. 98.180.55.167talk to me 19:11, April 21, 2013 (UTC)

Coat rack

I made a change to the coat rack reference because one is clearly seen in the previous Eleventh Doctor TARDIS. I believe actually a coat rack is visible in every version of the TARDIS save the TV movie version. And, I guess, the current one. 70.72.211.35talk to me 01:12, April 21, 2013 (UTC)

Errors

--Filming continuity error-- When The Doctor is talking about the empathic psychics, he picks up a bottle of milk with his right hand while gesturing with his left. Immediately after the camera cuts to a wider shot of The Doctor, mid-gesture and the bottle is now in his left hand which is gesturing. --Invictus152 11:04, April 21, 2013 (UTC)

When The Doctor is showing the slideshow, he uses the sonic to turn the projector on and he puts it in his pocket. Then when the slides start switching, we hear the sonic sound, yet when The Doctor moves toward the screen he takes the sonic out of his pocket.--Invictus152 11:23, April 21, 2013 (UTC)

There's a couple scenes when the Doctor is in the pocket universe where the footage seems mirrored as Smith's side parting appears on the wrong side of his head. 86.31.191.204talk to me 15:32, April 21, 2013 (UTC)

Scenes cut?

Were scenes cut out of the U.S. version of this? What happened with Hila? Why was she called "Witch of the Well"? There's no well.

The ending seems very abrupt and BBCAmerica has a habit of cutting off ending scenes and key bits in the middle, too. I wondered if viewers in the UK saw more than U.S. viewers did.

On second viewing, the Doctor briefly mentions that the wormhole is also a "reality well". There is no logical reason though that people who encountered the ghost over the centuries would know about this kind of well so it is still a puzzling reference because there is no regular well on the property. 63.143.218.107talk to me 20:17, April 28, 2013 (UTC)

Continuity problems

When the Doctor enters the pocket universe, through the wormhole, he ends up in the forest where he undoes his harness and starts to look for Hila. When he & Hila are trying to return, they are suddenly in the house and go into a room where the harness now is and she puts it on and is yanked back into 1974. How did the harness (and the wormhole) move?

Also, when Clara goes to rescue the Doctor, the TARDIS travels to the pocket universe but returns to the house via the wormhole. Does she somehow travel to the house and enter the wormhole when she is traveling to the pocket universe?

Finally, everything I've read says that traveling on the outside of the TARDIS through a wormhole would kill a person. The only person who successfully did this was Captain Jack who died but was revived because he was immortal. How come traveling through the wormhole, either by jumping in with the harness or holding on to the TARDIS, not kill the Doctor and Hila? 63.143.218.107talk to me 20:14, April 28, 2013 (UTC)
