Summer or Fall
- After 21st June - Daleks attack the Earth colony of Beta Caprisis. Claire Summerfield is killed. Survivors of the attack are evacuated to a space station aboard the luxury liner Star of Lucknow.
- In The Extinction Event, Benny says that she was eight when her mother died. She has also said that she was seven when her father vanished. The two events were less than six months apart (The Evacuation of...), which means that Beta Caprisis was attacked during the second half of 2548 rather than the first half of 2549.
