This Farrashian was the leader of Farrash at the time the Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith visited the planet.
Because the population was slowly dying out, the Leader supported a group of scientists that aborted the foetuses of volunteers to use the brain matter to animate metal bodies. The Leader had to deal with stiff opposition to this project.
