Phil Ford has written for The Sarah Jane Adventures and Torchwood. He has taken over as head writer of Sarah Jane Adventures in Series 2. A Doctor Who special co-written with Russell T Davies will air in 2009, making him so far the first writer to work on three series set in the Doctor Who Universe.
