St Oscar's University

St. Oscar's University was located on the planet Dellah, and was one of the most prestigious centres of learning in the Milky Way. It was set up by the Sultan of Tashwari to remove the planet Dellah from the theatre of war which was a possibility in that sector of the galaxy. (BNA: Oh No It Isn't!)

It has a campus of nine colleges, built on a chain of hilly islands in Dellah's northern hemisphere. St. Oscar's University also has its own (and in fact Dellah's first and only) spaceport on the northernmost island, a space needle which disrupted the weather patterns on Dellah, dramatically increasing the amount of precipitation.   • The Garland College Hall of Residence is a large, barrel-shaped brick building: traditional Dellahan residence architecture. The Rector's Rooms are located here; Bernice Summerfield, who held the Edward Watkinson chair of Archaeology, was also Rector of Garland College.
