Matthew Jacobs (born 1 July 1956) was the writer and co-producer of Doctor Who, the 1996 TV movie. His writing credits include episodes of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Ruth Rendell Mysteries and the animated film The Emperor's New Groove.
When he was a child, his father, Anthony Jacobs, brought him on set to see filming of the Doctor Who story The Gunfighters.
