Maureen O'Brien (born 29 June 1943 in Liverpool) played the Doctor's companion Vicki in Doctor Who, beginning with "The Rescue" and ending with "The Myth Makers." She has also appeared in many other television programmes, most notably Casualty.
She played the part of Vicki in 1965, but since then has little to do with the series. However, she will be appearing in Year of the Pig, a forthcoming Doctor Who audio drama by Big Finish Productions, alongside Colin Baker and Nicola Bryant as the Sixth Doctor and Peri Brown. In the play she will not be appearing as Vicki.
