On 27 November, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.
- 1963 - "An Unearthly Child," the very first Doctor Who story, was rebroadcast on BBC tv before the second episode to gain more viewers. This worked, with ratings of 6 million compared to the original broadcast's 4.4 million.
- 1965 - "Devil's Planet" was first broadcast on BBC1.
