On 6 January, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.
- 1968 - Episode three of The Enemy of the World was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1968 - Part two of TV Comic story The Witches was first published.
- 1973 - Episode two of The Three Doctors was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1973 - Part six of Zeron Invasion was first published in TV Action & Countdown.
- 1979 - Part three of The Power of Kroll was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1984 - Part two of Warriors of the Deep was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 2008 - Two exhibitions named "Doctor Who Up Close" were closed, namely the one in Manchester and the one in Leicester.
- 2009 - Four to Doomsday was released on Region 1 DVD.
