Prometheus was a Chronovore. He mated with the Eternal known as Elektra, an act which was forbidden by the Ancient Covenant, and produced the Chronovore/Eternal hybrid known as Kronos. When this was discovered, the Guardians of Time punished Prometheus by erasing him from existence. However, the child he had helped produced was spared. (PROSE: The Quantum Archangel)
